I did not have any expectations of this course to be honest. I am not really used to Panteion University and the way everyone is dealing with their courses and their Learning Agreement. I have this problem, that I can not take any course of my department of social policy, because every course in my department is taught in Greek. So what I have to do now is looking for other courses in other departments. This Course sounded interesting and in Germany (where I live and study) it is really hard to study psychology. It is difficult to get a study place, because it is very popular. Social media and how social media is affecting us sounds very interesting, because it is affecting everyone I know. Analyzing the use and the effects of social media from a scientific and academic perspective leads maybe to new approaches. Everyone I know uses social media and it has more or less an impact in our daily life.
I think people in my generation or in general people like to discuss about general system theory, without even knowing that they are talking about System theory. So I also think looking at System theory from a scientific and academic perspective would be a valuable insight. I am aiming to learn more about the background, History and Philosophy of System Theory.
With this course I want to gain knowledge in various fields, where I do not know much about theoretically. #emergence
